It was our first time using this platform, and staying at Jessica's home for our holiday was an amazing decision. Jess was incredibly helpful, providing all the information we needed before she left for the USA. She clearly communicated everything about her pets' needs. We shared many wonderful moments with her pets and hope to come back next year!

Last month I had to rush to Brooklyn to see my mom and had no one to leave my dog Charlie with. He gets so stressed if he's not at home, so shelters weren't an option at all. I found Marieke and Giovanni on Flat4Pet, and they agreed to spend their holiday at my place in Sicily. They took amazing care of Charlie, and I didn't have to worry about a thing while I was gone. Thank you so much, you guys are the best!!

I stayed in Sofia and Carlos’s house for almost 8.5 weeks with the chilled cat Minky. The house was in a good location with spectacular views and just a 6-minute walk to Playa del Sol beach. Minky was easy to care for as he just wanted a lot of food and some occasional petting 😊. Overall, I highly recommend this house sit. Thanks again, Sofia and Carlos!

I work as a Formula auto mechanic worldwide with a 4 months on, 4 months off schedule. I had been searching for a long time for someone to take care of my cat and fish while I am away. Thanks to Flat4Pet for a community I can trust with my home. I’ve made new friends here, and now I want to become a Flat4Pet myself, haha, that’s so cool...

Dog Sitter Fort Worth

What is the cost of hiring a dog sitter in Fort Worth?

In Fort Worth, traditional dog sitting services usually cost $35–$60 per night for one dog. Prices may vary based on the sitter’s experience, location within the city, number of pets, and whether it’s an overnight stay or daytime visits. With Flat4Pet, there are no per-night charges – instead, pet owners and sitters form connections based on a mutual passion for animals and travel.

Does the dog experience stress due to the change of environment and the absence of the owner?

Some dogs may experience stress due to a new environment and being away from their owner. However, staying with a sitter in a home setting can be less stressful than a kennel, as it provides a familiar routine, personal attention, and comfort. Our sitters are often experienced in how to get a scared dog to trust you, which makes them especially well-suited to easing a nervous pet into a calm, routine-based environment.

Is there a problem with having two dogs when hiring a sitter?

No, there’s no problem with having two dogs when hiring a sitter. Many Flat4Pet sitters are experienced in handling multiple pets and can provide individual attention to each dog. However, it’s important to communicate the specific needs of both dogs, such as their personalities, feeding schedules, and any special requirements. This will help ensure that the sitter is prepared to care for them properly and make them feel comfortable while you're away.

Do you have a dog sitter available in Fort Worth?

Yes! Flat4Pet connects pet owners in Downtown Fort Worth, Arlington Heights, Tanglewood, Fairmount, and other neighborhoods with experienced and caring dog sitters. If no local sitters are available, many members are willing to travel to Fort Worth to care for your pet. Believe it – a dog sitter from Madison might be the one taking care of your dogs while you explore the world.
