The Story Behind Flat4Pet

Flat4Pet started with us — Varvara and Roman — two travelers who loved exploring new places but always worried about leaving our pets behind. Every trip came with the same question: who would care for them the way we do?

We realized we weren’t alone. Pet owners everywhere faced the same challenge, while travelers like us longed for a place that felt like home instead of just another rental. So we started thinking — what if there was a way to help each other? A space where pet owners and travelers could connect, not through money, but through trust and shared values.

We knew from the start that we didn’t want Flat4Pet to be just another service. We didn’t want it to be about money changing hands, about landlords and tenants. We wanted it to be about people. Real connections. Homeowners finding sitters who genuinely love animals, travelers discovering homes that feel like they belong to them — even if just for a little while. 

This is why there’s no commerce between users. No hidden fees. No transactions. Just trust for trust, care for care. A simple idea, but one we truly believe in.
